CLASSIC LOVE STORY
the beaches of mexico our now undoubtedly an important part of #aandbabe sarah and joe’s wedding day, but not the start of this romantic love story. meeting at work, sarah and joe had an instant connection. taking time to get to know each other, it wasn’t until months later that they would eventually decide to date. sarah explains that after a few trips traveling as friends, they suddenly were dating, sharing “we never looked back”.
RESORT WEDDING
while sarah and joe weighed out several wedding options, they ultimately decided that an intimate destination wedding would be best for their celebrations. selecting haven resorts in cancun as their wedding venue, sarah and joe invited 40 of their closest family and friends to join the on april 23rd, 2022.
NEUTRAL AND NATURAL WEDDING COLOR PALETTE
when describing the look of their wedding, sarah shares that they “went for a neutral palette”. keeping their decor minimal, the main wedding colors were white and light nude with accents of green and gold.
TROPICAL DETAILS
from their wedding invitation suite to the wedding arch, greenery was abundant. we loved the tropical leaves that covered their classic invitation suite. getting guests excited for the escape in store, these festive green and white wedding invitations were spot on.
matching the modern invites, their floral arch was simple, but eye-catching. including greenery branches and white flowers, this pergola ceremony altar looked luxurious against the beach backdrop.
with the ocean behind and palm trees swaying near the edge of the deck, this beachside wedding captured the couple’s wedding colors and relaxed aesthetic perfectly.
MADI LANE WEDDING DRESS
matching the floral details throughout, sarah stunned in ‘avery’ by madi lane. covered in oversized lace motifs, this full skirt wedding dress made a statement as the dramatic train trailed across the dark beams of their wedding ceremony deck. sarah’s rue de seine veil completed the look, adding a light layer to the top of her train.
though subtle, sarah’s lace a-line wedding dress included a layer of glitter tulle. this delicate tulle layer added the perfect amount of shimmer when caught by the sunlight. paired with sarah’s golden wedding accessories it was the perfect amount of bridal glam for their beachside ceremony setting.
GOLDEN WEDDING ACCESSORIES
not only did sarah’s wedding dress sparkle, but so did her accessories. wearing untamed petals’ stargazer drop earrings and eventually swapping them out for beaded champagne bottle drop earrings, sarah wore statement earrings throughout the day.
from her head down to her toes, golden was the accessory color of choice. pairing her madi lane bridal gown with pleated wedding heels by loeffler randall, the golden wedding mules were both comfortable and chic.

A WEDDING WITH LOVE
love was at the center of #aandbabe diana and alvaro’s destination wedding in el salvador. with touches like a neon wedding sign reading ‘i love you so much’ and table cards that read ‘love is sweet’, diana and alvaro made sure to feature their love for each other and their guests.
one of our favorite love-inspired photo was the snapshot of diana’s dress bag with a card from our a&bé raleigh bridal shop that stated ‘love, it’s the whole damn point’. we were so happy to see this little piece of diana’s wedding dress shopping experience made its way to her getting ready suite and even got special spot in their wedding photo gallery.
FARM WEDDING
diana and alvaro’s unique wedding venue, a coffee farm on the san salvador volcano, offered a charming escape of history and natural beauty. flowering plants such as orchids, hydrangeas, lilies, and birds of paradise could all be seen throughout the private landscape and floral ceiling installations.
diana and alvaro had a traditional church ceremony before making their way to their fantasy dream reception.
CANDLELIT RECEPTION SPACE
the second guests entered the cozy reception space, and were greeted by a black welcome sign with greenery and flowers at the base. candles filled every corner of the room, creating a warm glow that reflected off of the glassware and gleaming cutlery.
a medium sized greenery installation hung over their sweetheart table as did a giant floral installation above the dance floor. with glass bulbs and candles also hanging from this unique wedding dance floor feature, diana and alvaro’s details were endlessly glamorous.
JENNY YOO WEDDING DRESS
diana’s timeless wedding look was chic and sophisticated. with full sleeves and a flowy skirt, ‘louise’ by jenny by jenny yoo was the perfect wedding dress for their timeless wedding day.
diana paired this minimal billowing sleeve wedding gown with beautiful accessories such as a lace cathedral veil and beaded bridal hair comb.
to finish off the plain waist seam of this a-line wedding dress, diana added ‘elite sash’ by untamed petals for another element of sparkle. matching her drop bridal earrings, this thin pearl belt completed the entire look.
