mytien recalls their first date, making sure to speak to their instant connection. “we immediately hit it off and our date lasted 6 hours where we discussed our love for travel and trying all the best foods.”
when it came to their wedding day, mytien and garett channeled their love of food and festivities into the details.
they wanted their rustic wedding at old sugar mill to feel “whimsical, ethereal, romantic, and warm”.

mytien looked majestic as she walked down the grassy aisle to garret wearing a floral lace made with love bridal wedding dress.
the bright sun joined in on the celebration and later poured into the loft windows of their cozy and industrial wedding venue.
during the reception, mytien would change out of her made with love wedding dress and put on an ao dai.
mytien shares, “i also got to change into a red ao dai, which is a traditional vietnamese dress, which meant so much to my mom and extended family.”
the two finished their day dancing to olivia rodrigo and blissfully enjoying the start of this new chapter.
