LOVE AT FIRST TEE
meeting at a local golf course in denver and quickly teaming up for a short game, megan knew there was something special about spencer the second she met him. after chatting throughout their game of golf, megan asked spencer if he’d want to play together another time and spencer agreed.
before leaving the golf course that day, megan persisted in hopes they’d meet again soon. she said "well why don't I give you my phone number", before departing, a moment they laugh about now.
her forwardness paid off. later that evening, spencer sent megan a text message stating, "meeting you was one of the best things that's ever happened to me". that text exchange kicked off a whirlwind romance for these two.
GOLF COURSE ENGAGEMENT
since megan and spencer’s love story started on a denver, colorado golf course, spencer picked a proposal spot that nodded to their first encounter. popping the question in june 2020, spencer asked megan to marry him on the 7th hole of golf course, this time in virginia.
soaking in every moment of their engagement, megan and spencer decided to elope in italy. taking time to think of what would make their destination elopement enjoyable, they incorporated a range of fun ideas to personalize their fall elopement in italy.
jetting off to the amalfi coast in october 2021, megan and spencer’s romantic destination elopement was everything they wished for and more.
ADVENTUROUS WEDDING ON AMALFI COAST
megan and spencer made the most of their elopement in italy by traveling throughout europe and arranging the elopement to take place during their trip. megan explains, "even though we stayed on the coast for only 5 days we traveled for a total of 3 weeks around italy, greece and then paris. our wedding day was just a highlight that happened to be in the middle of an amazing trip and i cannot wait to go back!"
these two spent their wedding morning in reflection, writing their vows and looking out onto the private cliffside gardens of belmond hotel caruso, before heading to their charming amalfi coast wedding ceremony venue.
being serenaded by a single violin, megan and spencer's intimate italy elopement in the courtyard of nh convento di amalfi was breathtaking. surrounded by open air and gothic arches, this 13th-century monastery turned hotel was the perfect place for their luxury coastal wedding ceremony.
SIMPLE CREPE WEDDING DRESS
megan opted for a simple crepe dress by made with love so she could stand out among their mountainous surroundings. her ‘ryder crepe’ wedding dress looked refined among the beautiful cliffside hotel’s plaster hallways and rustic terraces.
wearing her hair in soft waves, megan’s relaxed wedding style was one-of-a-kind. after exchanging vows, these two roamed the streets of amalfi. posing for photos under classy streetlights and even hitching a ride in a vintage white wedding getaway car, their uninterrupted time celebrating together was idyllic.
with calming seaside waves on the horizon and more memorable vacation moments ahead, megan and spencer stepped into married life with glowing smiles and serene hearts.
