whether you are committed to finding the best deal on a designer wedding dress, want to find an affordable second (or even third look) for your wedding day, or you absolutely want to purchase a preloved wedding dress — this is your chance to shop the $500 and under super sample sale at a&bé!
this is a fast-paced one day event that is unlike our typical sample sales.
for this event, we have a lot of inventory to move and so we are marking things down more than usual. and because we know there’s a lot of options, we want to allow as many brides to shop with us as possible so we will not be taking appointments. this event is first come, first sold!
while offerings vary among locations, our sample sale collection will include “floor models” available for purchase off-the-rack with a majority of gowns falling between street sizes 8-12 and no dress will be more than $500 and there may be plenty of options that are under $150!
if you happen to be in denver, dallas or minneapolis you are in luck! we are partnering up with our sister shop, anna be bridal boutique, and will have samples from both anna be and a&bé at the $500 and under sale. and yup, these dresses will also be $500 and under!
our sample sale event is ideal for brides on a timeline crunch or babes in search of a serious deal!
while we promise to make your sample sale experience fun, sample sales can get hectic and often require quick decisions and the ability to envision the final look. we’ve outlined more information and faq answers but our biggest takeaway would be that sample sale dresses are available on a first-come, first-served basis (no holds, babe).

are you able to make a decision quickly?
YES — since there's only one of each dress, quick decision-making is key since we can’t hold sample sale dresses.
NO — sample sales can be a hectic and fast-paced shopping environment. we always want our shopping experience to feel pressure-free and fun, so if split decisions aren’t your thing, we suggest booking a regular bridal appointment.
is there one particular dress that you absolutely have to try on or have?
YES — the sample sale is a mix of beautiful dresses and perfect for those open-minded brides not looking for something specific. if you have your eye on a particular designer or type of dress, honing in on that style at our typical bridal appointment would probably be a better fit!
NO — our sample sale is for you! with a wide range of unique styles and silhouettes we can’t wait to see the sample dress you end up falling in love with. surprising yourself with the dress you end up choosing is always a good time and we’ve got lots to choose from!
are you a street size 8-12 and average height?
YES — while our sample sale dresses will all need to be altered, the majority of our samples will fall within the 8-12 street size range. if you are short to average in height, a hem is usually an easy fix in alterations.
NO — though our sample collection varies by location, brides that are outside of the 8-12 street size range or are taller than average, may have less sample gown options or difficulty finding samples in the proper length.

it’s awesome. basically, you get to shop all the dresses we no longer need in shop after being tried on or gowns that have been discontinued by the designer. these floor samples are marked down and you can take your dress home as-is that very day!

the majority of our sample dresses will fit like a street size 8-12 and will need various alterations as well as cleaning. as a general rule of thumb, most dresses can be altered up to 2 dress sizes without compromising the integrity of the dress. this guideline is dependent on the gown’s silhouette and ideal fit, so come prepared to envision. your stylist will talk you through what the alterations and cleaning process will look like as it’ll be different for every dress.

this sale is DEEPLY discounted! nothing in the sale will be more than $500 — making it perfect to find a reception dress, a second look for your wedding weekend, or the deal of a lifetime.

no! our original gown prices have a big starting range of $1,200-$7,500+. our sample gowns will start under $100 and go up to $500.

the sale will be taking place at all a&bé standalone locations: austin, dallas, denver, minneapolis, nashville, portland, raleigh, sacramento, & seattle. for this event, anna be will be co-hosting with the a&bé locations meaning you can shop both anna be and a&bé inventory at the denver, dallas, and minneapolis a&bé locations.

anna be samples can be found at a&bé. on the day of the sale, all anna be locations will be closed and instead will be found at their sister a&bé location.

yes! depending on the size of our collections we will likely have two more standard sample sales throughout the year. one in the summer and one in the late fall before the holiday season. stay tuned to our instagram and event pages for the latest announcements.

no! for the $500 and under sample sale we are not taking any appointments. the doors will open promptly at 4pm and we will allow a select number of brides in the shop at that time.

yes! we expect this event to be in-demand therefore we will be asking that all brides share their fitting room with other brides. there will be limited seating and therefore you are only allowed to bring a maximum of 1 guest.

no. for this sale, you will be sharing a fitting room and a stylist with other brides. If you are looking for a more intimate one-on-one experience with a dedicated stylist, we recommend scheduling a regular bridal appointment.

yes! in order to make it possible for more brides to find their sample dress, we are limiting your time to one hour. We expect try-ons to move quickly (most find their dress within 30 minutes) and we would suggest you try on no more than 5-10 dresses. sample sales work a little differently and it tends to be easy to know if it's the one!
there is no holding of gowns and you will be limited to only having two dresses in the fitting room at any time.
